Scott Megginson Appointed to Canadian Research Insights Council (CRIC)’s Board

Megginson joins CRIC Board to drive the highest measurement standards and best in class methodology for the Canadian research industry

New York, NY, July 29, 2025 -- The Canadian Research Insights Council (CRIC) announced that Scott Megginson, President of Kantar Canada, has been appointed to its board of directors. Megginson brings a wealth of knowledge to the CRIC Board though more than three decades of experience across both client and agency roles, including as President of Kantar Canada for the past 15 years.

“I’m honored to join the CRIC Board at such a pivotal time for our industry,” said Megginson. “As we navigate the impact and disruption of AI, automation, and new market entrants, I look forward to helping CRIC champion high standards, foster innovation and collaboration, and support the next generation of researchers."

In his new role, Megginson will work closely with other board members to guide the strategic direction of CRIC, ensuring that it continues to uphold the highest standards of research integrity and innovation while driving relevance and engagement among local members. His appointment reinforces Kantar’s belief that large organizations have a responsibility to support the broader research industry by creating best practices and elevating research methodologies.

Megginson’s three decades as an industry veteran includes significant roles at The Angus Reid Group, Warner Lambert Canada, PepsiCo Canada, with impact that has been recognized with The Chairman’s Award at PepsiCo and WPP Leaders & Partners Award at Kantar. Additionally, he is the past Chair of Queen’s University Dean’s Council for Arts & Science, Board Member of the former PMRS, and founding President of the Canadian Advisory Council for the Insights Association.
